Modified Transvaginal-Assisted Single-Incision Laparoscopic Radical Surgery for Rectal Cancer in Women

Abstract  At present, the treatment effect of laparoscopic radical operation for rectal cancer with multi hole method (usually five holes) has been accepted and widely practiced in the world. Under the premise of ensuring the radical operation of laparoscopic rectal cancer, for more invasiveness, surgeons have been trying various new attempts, including single incision laparoscopic surgery, hole reduction laparoscopic surgery, natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) [1], natural orifice specimen extraction surgery (NOSES) [2], robot surgery [3] and so on. Among them, the single incision laparoscopic for rectal cancer radical operation requires only a small incision in the abdomen (usually the umbilicus). The laparoscopic lens, holding forceps, and ultrasonic scalpel are put into the abdominal cavity with a round port for the operation, which can bring about such advantages as small incision, less postoperative pain, and cosmetic result. However, in the sa

The Effect of Eccentric Exercise with Variations in Rest Interval on Creatine Kinase and Lactate Dehydrogenase Enzymes in Sedentary Young Men

Abstract Various studies have demonstrated that different rest Intervals and set -repetition has a significant effect on hormonal and metabolic responses. This factors can lead to different muscle damage responses. 20 untrained subjects (25.4±0.068 years, height 1.74±0.97cm and weight 30.8±8.48kg) in three sessions of eccentric resistance exercise with 24 hours rest between each session Participated in this study. Subjects were divided into 2 groups of 10 subjects who performed 50 eccentric contractions with different number of 5 sets, 5 repetitions, and the interset rest interval 1 and 3 minutes with 85% of one repetition maximum (1RM). Creatine Kinase and Lactate Dehydrogenase were measured immediately before , immediately after each session and 24 hours after the last training session. Variance analysis with repeated measurment and Bonferroni post-hoc test were used for statistical analysis of data. There is no significant difference in Creatine Kinase and Lactate
